At the south end near the top there is a window jamb of a different sort, a fragment of Abbot de Nottingham's clerestory.  

Note. There is a Valentine’s postcard dated 1900 which shows this,
















but at some date before 1983 this piece of masonry fell off.

If you compare this picture with that on the previous page, you can see that it was a very sizeable chunk. Around the base of the arch on this side there is now a large pile of masonry. This is presumably the remains of  the bit that fell off.
