Slype.

14th century (C40).

A passageway leading to the cemetery, much white-washed (H79).
The continuation beyond the Chapter House may have been a covered passage (WARD).

It had a door at each end, so probably served as a Parlour (H80).  Also a small door in the south wall leading to the Common Room (WARD).

The north wall was at some date doubled in width to 5-6’ wide with a joint down the centre. The passage was 7+ wide, 125’ from the doorway level with the east wall of the common room (C38).
