This visitation system enabled exemption from Episcopal authority, which was not what Norbert originally wanted (C/WC).

Dommartin, Diocese of Amiens, dep. Somme, founded 1125, moved to a new site in 1163; it had an east end ambulatory and encircling apsidal chapels in the thickness of the wall which do not show externally (CLAPHAM). Also west towers.
La Lucerne, diocese of Avranches, dep. Manche, begun in 1164; the high altar was consecrated in 1178. It had 2 chapels in each arm and a tower over the crossing and a 2 aisle chapter house (CLAPHAM)..
Beauport, diocese of St Brieuc, dep. Cotes du Nord, founded 1201, similar to La Lucerne. Its lavatorium was contrived in the adjoining west wall of the cloister, and it had a 2 aisle chapter house (CLAPHAM).
Parc, diocese of Liege, Namur, rebuilt by Abbot Yvan de Bierbeck about 1226, with 3 chapels in each arm of the transept and no masonry tower (CLAPHAM).

Etival, dep. Vosges. Its east end was rebuilt in the 16th century (CLAPHAM).
Licques, near Boulogne (C/WC), dep. Pas-de-Calais (CLAPHAM), daughter house of St Martin, Laon (C/WC), mother house of Newhouse and most of the other English houses. The extant buildings are of the 18th century.
St Just-en-Chaussee near Beauvais (CLAPHAM). It has an unusual aisleless nave.

Braisne St Yved, diocese of Soissons, dep. Aisne, dedicated in 1216: it has an aisleless apsidal presbytery with 2 apsidal chapels set diagonally on each side between it and the transept, like Trier, Xanten and other Rhine valley churches. It had a very unusual west transept, now destroyed (CLAPHAM).
