Newhouse had 11 daughter foundations and Welbeck 7.  Wendling was the last. (CLARK)

There were 3 circaries:  N.England and Scotland (13 houses);  Middle England (13);  S.England (11) (CLAPHAM).   Fearn in Ross and Talley were not in circaries because they were remote (C/WC), and Torre was often missed for the same reason (C/WC).

There were supposed to be 2 visitors and for them to change circary each year, but that was not often observed (C/WC).  Special visitors were appointed if there were serious issues;  deposition could be done only by general chapter;  ecclesiastical or even secular help could be sought (C/WC)..

Dale was in the middle circary with Barlings, Beauchief, Croxton, Hagnaby, Halesowen, Lavendon, Newbo, Newhouse, Sulby, Tupholm and Welbeck (C/WC).
